This Chrome extension highlights utm_* parameters found in the active tab’s URL to help users quickly verify campaign tracking. The extension operates entirely on-device.

What Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

No account creation or identifiers.
No browsing history, page content, or query data.
No analytics, cookies, or third‑party trackers.

How the Extension Works

Reads the active tab’s URL locally to detect parameters that start with utm_ (e.g., utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign).
Highlights the detected parameters and may display them in the extension UI.
Performs all processing locally. No data leaves your device.

Permissions

This extension uses the minimal permissions necessary to function. Typical permissions include:

activeTab – to access the URL of the currently active tab when the user interacts with the extension.
(Optional) storage – if you enable local-only preferences, they remain on your device and are not transmitted.

Third Parties

We do not share data with third parties. There are no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no external data transfers.

Children’s Privacy

This extension is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information.
